RF Radiation Has been Proven to damage human and plant cells at the molecular level through oxidative stress

We are not strangers to wireless technology. The use of microwave radiation to transmit data has been a crucial part of the technological revolution. But without responsible use, increasing amounts of radiation will significantly affect human and environmental health.

Cumulative background microwave radiation produced by increased use of WiFi routers, cell phones and towers, television and radio broadcasts, and satellite communications, has increased significantly since 1996; yet the safety standards for radiation determined by the FCC at that time have never been updated. They only address radiation emitted by a single device or antenna. But, as seen by how many WiFi networks your phone picks up at any location, increasingly more devices surround us that emit radiation. The additive effects are not regulated.

We know it wouldn’t be smart to use a microwave oven with the door off. Small cell antennas use similar frequencies and power wattage as microwave ovens, and deploying them in neighborhoods would be just as nonsensical.

The American Cancer Society has not taken a stance on whether or not Cell Phone Radiation is absolutely safe, and looks to the WHO and the NIH for guidance.  The WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies cellular radiation as ‘possibly carcinogenic’ due to documented increase risk of a malignant brain cancer called glioblastoma in associated with cell phone use.  The NIH’s National Toxicology Program concluded in 2018 that there was “Clear Evidence” that RF radiation used in 2G and 3G cell phones caused cancers of the heart, blood and adrenal glands in Rats, as well as DNA damage in the brains of Rats and Mice.

Micro and millimeter wave radiation can alter the cells. Humans (and plants) are affected depending on which of their cells are most susceptible. Bioinitiative.org lists thousands of peer reviewed studies showing the biological effects of radio frequency radiation, correlating 2G and 3G wireless radiation with incidents of cancer, autoimmune and neuropsychiatric conditions, learning disabling anxiety, and ADHD. 4G and 5G have not been studied as extensively as they are newer; and their waves carry more energy at higher frequencies.
